The Great Rift Odyssey: From Volcanic Peaks to the Savannah Plains
Welcome to Wild Trail & Big Five with Leonie, a cross-country group adventure designed for travelers ready to experience Kenya in motion. Spanning the Maasai Mara, Mount Satima, and Sagana, this journey takes you across some of the country’s most iconic landscapes. Traveling in July, you’ll experience the Mara at one of its most exciting times, with excellent opportunities to witness the Great Migration as the first herds begin to arrive, alongside exceptional predator sightings as lions, cheetahs, and leopards take advantage of the season’s abundance.
Beyond the safari, you’ll summit Mount Satima, the highest peak in the Aberdares and home to the surreal Dragon’s Teeth rock formations, before taking on the thrilling rapids of the Sagana River, adding an unforgettable adventure to an already extraordinary journey.
